Today it was about 30 degrees outside and sunny where I live. As the afternoon grew long in the house with my son, I kept thinking about a book I'm currently reading called "Fifteen Minutes Outside: 365 Ways to Get Out of the House and Connect with Your Kids" by Rebecca P. Cohen. I was inspired to bundle us up and head outside. It was cold, but so worth it! We touched snow on the table, pushed cars down the slide, and watched an airplane fly overhead. We were back inside warm and refreshed 15-20 minutes later. The book is a great read that gives specific ideas on what to do with children outside each month out of the year.
